Material Inspection
- Inspect tiles for damage before installation. Natural variations in color, pattern, and texture may occur.
- No adjustments or service will be provided after installation begins.
Substrate Preparation
- Ensure the substrate is clean, flat, contaminant-free, and free of cracks.
- For wet areas, use a compatible waterproof membrane. Follow manufacturer's recommendations.
- Install expansion joints at changes in plane and where tile meets restraining surfaces.
- Use silicone caulking sealant in corner joints instead of grout.
Installation
- Dry-fit the pattern to plan cuts and placement, especially for varied tiles.
- Use white thin-set mortar to avoid color changes. For faster installation, use rapid curing thin-set mortar.
- Apply only as much adhesive as can be tiled within 10-15 minutes.
- Maintain a minimum grout joint of 1/16". Do not butt set tiles.
- Suggested trowels:
- 9" trowel with 1/8" square notch for most tiles.
- For ceramic tiles, use a 3/16" or 1/4" square notch trowel.
Grouting
- Use non-sanded grout for ceramic tiles to prevent scratching.
- Test grout in a small area before applying.
- Pack joints fully and clean excess grout as you go.
- Avoid using acids to clean grout haze. Use a damp sponge for final cleaning.
- Apply grout release before grouting to protect from stains.
Cutting
- For optimal cutting results, use a wet-saw with a continuous rim diamond blade designed for ceramic tiles.
Cleaning
- For porcelain tile, clean with a solution of 1/4 cup white vinegar to 2 gallons of water. Allow time to dry.
- Sweep or vacuum dust and debris, using a two-direction method for effective cleaning.
- In high-traffic areas, clean the floor at least once a day and wet mop regularly.
Reminders
- Avoid cleaning with ammonia, bleach, wax, oil-based cleaners, or acids, as they may alter grout color.
- Do not use steel wool pads to avoid rust stains.
- Place rugs at entrances to minimize dirt and grit from being tracked onto tile floors.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
