Material Inspection
- Natural Variations: Stones are natural, so expect differences in color, pattern, texture, and veining.
- Pre-Installation Check: Inspect for any damage, such as chipped edges or broken pieces. No adjustments will be made after installation begins.
Installation Guidelines
- Dry-Fitting: Lay out the pattern first to visualize the design and plan cuts. This is important for tiles with variation.

Thinset Mortar:
- Use white thinset mortar to avoid altering tile color.
- For faster installation, use rapid curing thinset mortar.

Adhesive Application:
- Cover as much area as you can within 10-15 minutes.
- Keep grout joints at least 1/16" apart.
- Use a 3/16" or 1/4" square notch trowel.
- Flatten ridges with the flat side of the trowel before laying the tiles.
Grouting
- Non-sanded grout is recommended to avoid scratching.
- Test a small area to ensure the stone won't scratch.
- Fill grout joints fully, leaving no gaps.
- Clean excess grout as you go; don’t let it harden.
- Avoid acid-based cleaners for removing grout haze.
- Use a damp sponge for final cleaning and smoothing of joints.
- Grout release is highly recommended to ease cleaning and protect against staining.
Sealing
- After installation, seal the stone with a high-quality breathable sealer to prevent water absorption, efflorescence, and staining.
- Use a color enhancer if desired to enhance the stone’s natural color.
- Reseal the tiles as needed, especially when they darken.
Cutting
- Use a wet-saw with a continuous rim diamond blade designed for marble to prevent chipping.
- Avoid using turbo or notched blades as they may damage the edges.
Care and Maintenance
- Clean stone surfaces using neutral cleaner, stone soap, or mild dishwashing detergent with warm water.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth to avoid streaks.
- Avoid using cleaners with lemon, vinegar, or acids. Never use abrasive cleaners.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
