INSTALLATION

Dry-Fitting: Practice dry-fitting your pattern to visualize the installation. This is especially important for tiles with significant variations to plan the placement effectively.

Mortar: We recommend using white thinset mortar to avoid affecting the color of the tiles. For faster installation, choose a rapid curing thinset mortar.

Adhesive Application: Apply as much adhesive as can be covered within 10-15 minutes.

Grout Joints: Grout joints should be a minimum of 1/16” and tiles should not be butt set (not placed edge to edge).

Trowel Size: Use a 3/16" or 1/4" square notch trowel when installing marble material. Smooth the mortar ridges with the flat side of the trowel before laying the tile.
GROUTING

Non-Sanded Grout: Use non-sanded grout to prevent scratching natural stone surfaces. Test a small area first.

Filling Grout Joints: Ensure that grout joints are packed full with no pits or voids. Clean excess grout as you go—do not allow it to harden.

Avoid Acids: Never use acidic cleaners for grout haze removal.

Final Cleaning: Use a damp sponge for final cleaning and to smooth grout joints.

Grout Release: Applying grout release before grouting helps with cleaning and prevents staining from contrasting grout colors.
SEALING

Sealing Post-Installation: After installation and grouting, seal the stone with a high-quality breathable stone sealer to minimize water absorption, efflorescence, and staining.

Optional Color Enhancer: A color enhancer can be applied to bring out the stone’s natural color after grouting. Reseal the tiles as needed, particularly when the stone appears darker.
CUTTING
- Wet-Saw with Diamond Blade: For best results, use a wet-saw with a new, continuous rim diamond blade specifically designed for cutting marble. Avoid using “turbo” or notched blades, as they may cause chipping and rough edges.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning: Clean stone surfaces using a few drops of neutral cleaner, stone soap, or mild liquid dishwashing detergent mixed with warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth to avoid streaks or film buildup.

Avoid Acidic Cleaners: Do not use cleaners containing lemon, vinegar, or other acids on marble or limestone.

No Abrasive Cleaners: Do not use abrasive cleaners that may damage the stone surface.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
